Who we are
Journey Church is a non-denominational Christ-centered church located in LaPorte, Indiana. We care about one thing more than anything else, Jesus Christ. Journey Church is a family of individuals that have found hope in Jesus, and simply want as many people as possible to experience that exact same freedom.
Where we come from
Journey Church was founded in 2015 as an all-volunteer church by a small group of families. They imagined a church that was truly welcoming to everyone. A come as you are church where everyone had a seat at the table regardless of personal history, family background, ethnicity, or gender. All that we do at Journey Church is based on our core values. Our beliefs describe how we view God, Jesus, the Bible, man, and many significant aspects of our faith.
Where we're headed
What's the bottom line? More than ever, Journey Church is committed to fostering a family built around our main mission. To put Jesus First, others second. And BE THIRD. As we move forward as a church family, inclusion and belonging remain at the center of who we are as followers of Christ. Ministry to our children and youth is one of our highest priorities at Journey Church.
